Pawmax claims to offer pets even more benefits than PAAWS, at a lower cost, with the convenience of once a day dosing. This product has a long list of 50 ingredients that looks impressive. No scientifically validated clinical trials are provided to document the safety or efficacy of this product. No veterinarian is associated with or ever recommended using this product. 

The fact is this formula can not even begin to offer pets the benefits of PAAWS, VitaLife or K-9 VitaMAXX. There are no ingredients to promote the health or integrity of the bones or joints. It provides pets with NO relief for arthritic pain: no Glucosamine, no MSM, no immune system boosters, no essential omega-3 fatty acids, and no colostrum. The minerals are not chelated or combined with nutrients necessary, so they are properly absorbed by your pet's body. In addition the levels of vitamins used are far less than those needed to promote good health. For example: 18 milligrams of Vitamin C versus to 125 milligrams in PAAWS & VitaLife. The sources of the vitamins used are also not indicated. It is important to recognize the fact that fat soluble sources of Vitamin A, for example are very inexpensive, but they are also potentially toxic for dogs and cats, because they are not eliminted from your pet's body each day. As their levels increase internally the results can be very harmful. Only water soluble vitamin sources used in PAAWS and VitaLife, so that they are utilized properly and absorbed by the body.They are dosed at optimal levels and their safety has been scientifically validated by double blind clinical trials. The  long list of amino acids in the product are derived from the beef they use to flavor the pills. No veterinarian is associated with the product and scientific validation is not provided.

Pet Tabs: This product carried by vets for years offers pets the minimum daily requirements (MDR) set by the FDA ages ago. The MDR was designed by the FDA "to prevent diseases due to gross vitamin deficiencies in institutionalized individuals." such as scurvy and rickets. The MDR is not designed to offer pets good health much less optimal health.

Currently no product other than Dr. Carol‘s PAAWS & VitaLife offers a PM Formula, therefore other products are taken only once a day.Pawmax claims to offer the same or greater benefits at a lesser cost.
